Bill Mooningham is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State
University, obtaining a B.S. degree in Accounting. After graduation, he
spent two years in the Army, serving with the First Air Calvary Division
in Vietnam. After completing military service, Bill joined Ernst &
Young. Bill has spent his career at Ernst & Young serving a wide variety
of companies of all sizes. Throughout his career, Bill has served both
publicly-owned and privately-owned companies.
He has extensive SEC experience and has participated in SEC filings
of all types, both periodic reports and registration statements. He has
significant experience with Wall Street and has worked with both New
York based law firms and underwriting firms.
Bill's community activities include service as the past Chairman of
the Board of Trustees of Samaritan Recovery Community (an alcohol and
drug abuse treatment center) for three terms; member of the Board of
Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Middle Tennessee State
University Foundation for six years; member of the Jones College of
Business Advisory Board; member of the MTSU Accounting Advisory Board;
member of the Davidson County United Way Steering Committee for five
years; and chairman of Davidson County United Way Allocations Panels for
ten years.
Bill and his wife, Linda, recently celebrated their 30th wedding
anniversary. They are both runners and have run three marathons and over
ten half-marathons together. Their most recent events were the New York
City Marathon last November and the Tampa Bay Marathon in February.
Their next event is the Music City Half Marathon on April 24.
They have two children, Sirci and Dathan, and three grandchildren.
