Chuck Pruett is managing partner of
The Pruett Financial Group of Northwestern Mutual Financial
Network, which offers insurance, investments and employee
benefits to businesses and individuals from its offices in
Nashville, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Knoxville and
the Tri-Cities.
Pruett
joined Northwestern Mutual in 1992 as a financial representative and
became managing director of the new Murfreesboro district office in
1995. In 2002, he assumed leadership
of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Nashville, becoming only
the sixth managing partner to lead the firm in its 138-year history.
Today, The Pruett
Financial Group is Northwestern Mutual’s eighth largest operation in the
country, with 124 financial representatives serving more than 50,000
clients.
A graduate of Middle
Tennessee State University with a B.A. in communications, Pruett
received the university’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2004. He serves
on the MTSU Foundation Board of Trustees, the advisory board of Regions
Bank and the board of directors of the Nashville Symphony Association.
In support of the United Way of Metropolitan
Nashville, Pruett served as chairman of the 2003 Cockrill Chapter
Campaign for leadership giving. He served as president of the Middle
Tennessee Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial
Advisors from 1998 to 1999, and also has served on the board of the
Murfreesboro Rotary Club.
Pruett and his wife,
Marcy, have two children and live in Nashville.
